Owner and Pastry Chef
Sylvia is the owner and Chef of Sylvia's Sweet Cakes. Her Passion for baking started at an early age, where she taught baking cakes, cookies and other pastries was a fun past time. She started her career as a pastry chef in Philadelphia, P.A. and there she has the opportunity to work and train with her parents and different chef both local and international. She also attended HACC (Harrisburg Community College) for pastry chef and also attended others cake decorating classes and seminars and become a Wilton Method Instructor to learn the techniques of hand-made sugar flowers, sugar decorations and rolled fondant and able to teach others the same technique. She's very passionate about her baking and decorating. She loves what she does.
